Two sports legends, Tiger Woods and Mike Trout, are teaming up for the creation of a new golf course project called Trout National – The Reserve. This will be a design from Tiger’s own architecture firm TGR Design and is set to open in 2025 in Vineland, New Jersey, which is just a short drive away from Trout’s hometown of Millville.
Trout, a three-time American League Most Valuable Player and an avid golfer with a “7 or 8” handicap, has always loved golf and spent his free time at the driving range with his father during his upbringing. He expressed his excitement about the project, saying “It’s pretty incredible having a chance to own your own golf course…It’s more than I ever thought possible.”
The golf course will undoubtedly be a unique blend of Woods’ and Trout’s styles and will be a must-visit destination for fans of both athletes. With Tiger’s TGR Design team already planning another project, a short course at Philadelphia’s Cobbs Creek Golf Club, it’s clear that Woods is still heavily involved in the game despite his injury setback.
