Titleist T-Series irons unleash the T100 and T100S, T200, and T300

Titleist has just unveiled four new models of T-series irons, including the T100 and T100S, T200, and T300, boasting updated designs to improve stability on off-center hits and optimize launch through the use of high-density tungsten. Titleist’s T-series iron launch takes a familiar tone: boosting forgiveness, building distance, and maintaining the size, shape, and feel that Titleist customers expect. The T100 irons, the most widely-played tour iron, now feature a back bar that has been thickened to create more weight that can be redistributed elsewhere, allowing more tungsten to be added to improve forgiveness. The T100S also benefits from tungsten, as much as 90 grams per head distributed in the heel and toe to lower the center of gravity for increased launch.

The T200 boasts a more sleek size and shape than its predecessor, with more heavy tungsten than any iron in the family (approximately 100 grams spread between heel and toe sections) and a high-strength SUP 10 steel in the L-shaped face design for faster ball speeds. The T300 is a game-improvement iron that has 40% more tungsten than its previous model, or an average of 70 grams per head in the 4- through 7-iron, for more stability on off-center hits.

All the irons feature polymer core technology for better feel and resilience, and Titleist’s signature multi material focus on improving stability on off-center hits and optimizing launch through the use of higher-density tungsten. Titleist’s new U-series utility iron, the U505, also incorporates a hollow design, a polymer core support structure, and plenty of head-stabilizing tungsten.

The T-series irons are available for fitting now and are expected to be in stores by August 26th, with the T100, T100S, and T200 retailing for $186 per club and the T300 starting at $143 per club. Overall, Titleist’s latest T-series iron lineup is sure to improve performance, whether you’re a professional golfer or a casual player.
